You select whether you want to purchase a 3, 6 or 12 month chocolate subscription. When choosing the Pre-Paid option, you'll only pay once at the time of checkout for the entire period you select--no recurring charges, nothing to cancel.

For each month of the duration you select, we will ship to you (or your intended recipient) a box of chocolate. Each box will include: 

• A 15-piece box of Xocolatl Chocolate Bonbons, containing 3 each of 5 different bonbon flavors--if you take a daily dose of chocolate, this 15-piece box will carry you through half a month! We will highlight seasonal bonbon flavors each month.
• An ever-changing Xocolatl Chocolate Bar--we'll curate the flavor or origin each month for delightfully unexpected variety.
• A single serving size portion of a chocolate surprise from our Confections or Pantry categories to introduce you to fun, new chocolate-related items.
• A piece of curiously interesting information about the cacao origins you'll be tasting in that month's box, facts about the plant, Theobroma cacao, or how we make craft chocolate, or a fun chocolatey recipe to give a whirl.

Each month, we will vary the chocolate bonbon and bar flavors for maximum joy and novelty. In addition to receiving new seasonal flavors, our subscribers will also be the very first to try new recipes and limited releases through this subscription box. Subscribers may also be the only folks who get to try micro-batches of chocolate bars when we begin tinkering with new cacao bean origins.

This subscription works out to spending $60/month--or $2.00 a day--on small batch, locally made, bean-to-bar craft chocolate. Whether the items in each month's box stretch out for an entire month, or whether they're gone shortly after the box is opened, we're sure you'll be looking forward to the next month's delivery, full of craft chocolate surprise. 

The cost of shipping is included in the price.

Once the duration of the subscription you selected is over, you'll stop receiving the monthly boxes of chocolate. There is no automatic renewal and no unexpected charge on your card--but you can always opt to purchase another subscription once the first one is over!

Don't we all hate subscriptions with lots of tiny print, an iron-clad contract, a call center in another country, unexpected auto-renewals and no easy way to end it? This is not that kind of subscription! As a small, family-owned business with a tiny but mighty team, we have devised our subscriptions to be as easy on our customers as possible. We appreciate you and just want to send you chocolate for the period of time that you want it. • There is utterly no contract to sign, no obligation or time commitment you need to make--we just want to send you chocolate every month for as many months as you select when choosing your subscription duration.
• Once you purchase your subscription, you'll receive a confirmation email.
• You'll also receive a courtesy email a few days before your monthly chocolate ships so that you know it's on its way! This courtesy email will also include instructions on how to pause or cancel your subscription early if needed.
• Your first subscription box will ship within 7 days of purchase, unless you specify an alternative date.
• In subsequent months, we’ll process your subscription the same day of the month as your original purchase day (or your specified alternative date), and your box will ship within 7 days of the processing date. If you ever need to adjust shipping dates, email orders@xocolatlchocolate.com and we will work with you to accommodate your request.
• Each time you receive a box, you'll find printed instructions on how to pause or cancel your subscription and our contact information to make things as easy as possible for you.
• If you choose to end your subscription before the end of the subscription duration, we will process a refund for the months of chocolate you don't receive--easy peasy.
• Your subscription is a one-time payment and we will not auto-charge you or roll you over to a new subscription when the subscription is over. Ever.
